My brother sent me this the other day and it is ace. From the BLDG Blog (click here for large scale printable version of the illustration), it’s a prospective utopian future, one where the lost rivers of London – from the Fleet to Hackney Brook – have resurfaced and been incorporated into the grand scheme of things. Interestingly, this very idea was posited by Boris Johnson only last year as a way to combat global warming in the capital city. Myself, I quite like the idea of my flat in E8 getting a waterside view… that said it might make cycling to work a bit squishy.
