Following on from wonderfully ad-hoc re-imaginings of the first Velvets album and “Songs Of Leonard Cohen”, Beck starts another entry in his online Record Club by covering Skip Spence’s magnificent “Oar” album with guest support from Wilco and Feist. He streams a track every day or so on his website – it’s only available as streams to hear there. The lead off track on the album – “Little Hands” – is here. Hats off to the boy Beck, these posts are bloody fantastic.
