Roam meets The Bird Effect and The Arcadians Uptown

Ceri Levy | 13th July 2010

Robin here, out in the wilds of East London in a mobile library van… wanted to post this as we are really, really excited about it… please make the effort to come down as it’ll be brilliant!

Due to phenomenal demand, the Bird Effect/Urban Birding event in Canary Wharf will now be a ground level talk between David Lindo and Ceri Levy, taking place at the Roam van at around 2.30 on Wednesday 14th July. The van will be parked in Cabot Square, Canary Wharf. The event will be open to all comers. If weather gets the better of us, we’ll move the talk indoors and advise of the new location on the outside of the van and on our website – check here for up to the minute details.

Prior to that, angling legend John Andrews (of Arcadia) will be giving a talk about inner-city angling inside the van from midday before leading a fishing expedition to the South Quay Dock of Canary Wharf. This will be a unique chance to cast off in one of the most iconic parts of the capital. Please email natalie.curd@host-boroughs.org.uk for places to fish or just turn up to the talk.
