… I’ve attached some pictures from the Kennet (more to follow, plus a very odd looking barbel). Had a couple of hours there this morning and landed a very strange barbel at about 5.30am. Not a bad start to the season so far…

..a few more pictures. And unbelievably a small deer appeared on the other bank opposite me at around 6am, jumped in, swam across and got out about 15 foot up the bank from me.
