The Nation's Favourite River – Your Last Chance to Vote

29th October 2010

Hi guys,

Don’t forget you’ve got until Sunday to vote in the inaugural Our Rivers awards. All the rivers in England and Wales are in the running for the title of ‘Nation’s favourite river’. But one river will also be labelled with the dubious of honour of being the country’s worst river.
It’s all about inspiring people about their local river, as well as giving them a voice to shout about all the threats they face as well. We’ve got a lovely website where you can vote and tell us why you’ve voted for your particular river and we’ll be announcing the winner next month.
Leading the way so far is the Wye, The Thames and The Dart for best river and Kennet, the Mersey and the Thames (again) for worst river. But get voting this weekend and that could change!

All the best,
