Exhibitions in London

Mathew Clayton | 18th December 2010

from Mathew Clayton:
A couple of exhibitions that i think would be enjoyed by readers of CBTR. Joanna Moore drawings of London are simple, beautiful and have the same architectural eye that informed the great Geoffrey Fletcher (whose classic book London Nobody Knows is being re-published in 2011). There is an exhibition of her drawings on until the weekend at the Townhouse, 5 Fournier Street next to Spitalfields.

A ten minute walk up the road is the Standpoint Gallery, 45 Coronet Street, just off Hoxton Square which hosts Reverting to Type a group exhibition of the world’s leading letterpress artists. The exhibition includes a working Adana Press for visitors to print their own Christmas cards. It is curated by Graham Bignell and Richard Ardagh of the New North Press and runs until January 22nd.
