Although he might model his look on the illustrated bloke out of Dr Alex Comfort’s bestseller, Sean Rowley really, truly does know his music. His exemplary BBC radio show The Joy Of Music has for some time now been something of an oasis on the airwaves. Each week, his playlist is absolutely knockout – partly down to the fact that he never once repeats a track he’s previously played which really does give the feel of staggering back round someone’s house after a night out before letting them do all the hard work at the stereo while you make the drinks.
