One of my favourite fishing trips ever was with my friend Rich on Lake Windermere. If you’ve had the misfortune of meeting me and admitted to even the slightest interest in fishing, then I’m bound to have bored you with it. I received the following email last week. I think I missed the boat –

Just back from my best fishing trip on Windermere. Fish caught went 13lb x3 14×2 15×3 a 17.8lb and an 18lb then 22.4lb then to top that off biggest fish from windy 27.4lb equalling my biggest fish from anywhere. Happy days mate.
