Without any question, the best telly discovery of the last few years for me was Summer Heights High. Three separate mates from Down Under sent DVDs after its in initial Aussie broadcast – in turn, I got copies sent over for everyone I knew back here. It did for me what the best TV does – from unknown quantity to quote heavy obsession in under six episodes. Anyway, fans of Summer Heights High (and its precursor, the fantastic and strangely moving We Can Be Heroes) will be foaming at the mouth over this – an eight minute trailer for creator/writer/star Chris Lilley’s forthcoming 12 part series Angry Boys. Strap yourself in, this is genius.
