Caught by the River

Competition Time

22nd May 2011

Truck Festival, now in it’s 14th year, takes place July 22nd-24th at Hill Farm, Steventon in the Oxfordshire countryside.

Our close relative Heavenly Recordings are presenting a day on the Clash stage, alongside Transgressive and Bella Union, featuring Saint Etienne, Edwyn Collins, Cherry Ghost, Sea of Bees, Trevor Moss & Hannah-Lou, James Walbourne, and DJ sets from Richard Norris (Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve) and Justin Robertson.

Elsewhere, Gruff Rhys, Graham Coxon, John Grant, Bellowhead, The Duke & the King, Young Knives, The Go! Team, Justin Townes Earle, and hosts The Dreaming Spires are all appearing. There’s also theatre, cabaret, comedy, comfortable camping, and a full programme of activities for children (those aged 12 and under are free with a responsible adult).

The good folks organising the festival have kindly offered up a pair of weekend tickets as a competition prize. As you can see, the line-up is fantastic and its sure to be a brilliant weekend. To be in with a chance of winning answer the following question correctly –

Which band playing at this year’s Truck festival released the album, ‘A Glimpse of Stocking’ for Christmas 2010?

Answers by noon on Tuesday to info@caughtbytheriver.net – Good luck, and remember, to be an eligible winner you must be a Caught by the River subscriber. Just pop your e address in the box at the top of the page. We promise we won’t abuse it.
