Fans of Gillian Welch, M. Ward, Mavis Staples and Emmylou Harris might want to head over to the NPR website and listen to live broadcasts of their sets at this weekends Newport Folk Festival. Gillian Welch is playing today at 4.45pm (eastern time) which, without wanting to get all Spinal Tap is, I think, 9.45pm in the UK.
