Our first post about Dick Proenneke, back in 2009 (Alone in the Wilderness), was followed by a stack of feedback from readers who, like us, had fallen for this guy who was quite simply living his dream. Thankfully for us all, Dick Proenneke documented every day of his thirty years in Alaska. His journal became the book One Man’s Wilderness and his film was edited and released on dvd as Alone in the Wilderness.

Well, happy days are here again, as news reaches us that a second DVD has been produced, Alone in the Wilderness part II and is now on sale from the website of the producer, Bob Swerer. Click HERE for further info.
