Taking place across rural Shropshire and Herefordshire, Borderlines film festival returned for its thirteenth incarnation. Alongside some of the bigger hitting pictures and a host of lesser known films, the festival launched the BFI funded Conversations About Cinema: Impact of Conflict, which sets out to explore the repercussions of conflict and the multiple ways this has been presented in film. For this strand of the programme, Annemarie Jacir – Palestinian director and curator (When I Saw You, Salt of this Sea) – has selected three internationally acclaimed Palestinian feature films and will include Q&A sessions with some of the directors.

Stopping off at the festival will be the Picturehouse Mobile Cinema: an articulated lorry that converts into a 100-seater auditorium!

Borderlines is ongoing until Sunday 15th March.
