A week’s now gone by since London’s Bush Hall hosted us for the Caught by the River Social Club, and we’re still buzzing.

Our afternoon of music, film, talk, poetry and beer featured poetry from Martha Sprackland and Will Burns, as well as a rare live performance from July Skies. We got lost in the Cumbrian landscape with Richard Skelton and Colin Greenwood, and were whisked through a parade of Thankful Villages by Darren Hayman. DJ Frances Castle of Clay Pipe Music played us out.

Thanks, as always, to everyone who bought a ticket, record or book. Extra special thanks to Gracie at Little Toller Books and to Sophie at Bush Hall for making it happen. Rumour has it we’ll be back at this rather special venue very soon.

Our next event will take place at the Trades Club, Hebden Bridge in January. More info/tickets
