Landscape isn’t just about image anymore. It’s about the words, sounds and sensations we experience when we inhabit a landscape, or when we try to photograph what we see.
This Saturday, 7 November, South Bank Club Bristol hosts a day of talks on landscape photography. With speakers Beth and Thom Atkinson, Ester Vonplon, Angus Carlyle, Susan Derges, Paul Gaffney and Jem Southam, Beyond the Visual, curated by Colin Pantall and Max Houghton, is the first in a series of events that will redefine what landscape photography means today.
