Competition Results

11th August 2016

Here are the results of our last couple of competitions:

First up, we had two prize bundles to give away, courtesy of the BFI & Penguin Modern Classics. Each comprised dual-format copies of Akenfield and A Month in the Country, newly remastered and re-released by the BFI, plus copies of the books on which they were based.

We asked: Akenfield is set in which English county?

And the answer is: Suffolk. The winners are Susan Creed and Cath van der Linden. Your prizes are in the post.

Stewart-Lee-1

Next up, we had three copies of Stewart Lee’s Content Provider, newly released by Faber, to give away, as well as three pairs of tickets to his brand new show at Leicester Square Theatre.

We asked: Released in 2001, what is the name of Stewart Lee’s debut novel?

And the answer is: The Perfect Fool. The winners are Jason Hewitt, Jo Elford and Francis Callanan. Your prizes will be with you very soon.

Thanks, as usual, for all the competition entries. To be in with a chance of winning our next prize, make sure you’re signed up to the mailing list on the front page of the site.
