We would like to extend our heartiest congratulations to Alice Oswald, whose latest collection Falling Awake was announced as winner of the Costa Book Awards’ Poetry category earlier this week.

She will now compete with the winners of the First Novel, Novel, Biography and Children’s Book categories – Francis Spufford, Sebastian Barry, Keggie Carew and Brian Conaghan – for the 2016 Costa Book of the Year award. The winner will be announced on Tuesday 31st January.
