Competition Results

11th May 2017

Here are the results of our latest newsletter competition:

Last week, we had five copies of Dan Pearson’s Natural Selection: A Year in the Garden, out now with Faber & Faber, to give away.

We asked: Which writer and journalist, known for her connection to the Bloomsbury group, started the weekly ‘In your Garden’ column for The Observer in 1947?

And the answer is: Vita Sackville-West. The winners are Di Beddow, Paul Cheney, Naomi Leake, Claudine King-Dabbs and Helen Thornton. Your prizes will be with you before too long.

Thanks, as usual, for all the competition entries. To be in with a chance of winning our next prize — a copy of Jessica J. Lee’s Turning: A Swimming Memoir, newly published by Virago — make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list before 11am tomorrow. The sign-up bar can be found in the top right-hand corner of this page.
