Here are the results of our latest newsletter competition:
Last week, we had two pairs of tickets to the BFI screening of Michael Smith’s Stranger on the Shore film series to give away.
We asked: ‘Stranger on the Shore’ is also the name of a song which was released in 1961. But who wrote it?
And the answer is: Acker Bilk. The winners are Susie Sell and Kier Carnihan. We hope you enjoyed last night’s screening!
Thanks, as usual, for all the competition entries. To be in with a chance of winning our next prize — a copy of Vybarr Cregan-Reid’s Footnotes: How Running Makes Us Human, out in paperback next week — make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list before 11am tomorrow. The sign-up bar can be found in the top right-hand corner of this page.
