Frequent readers of the site may remember ‘The Last Blacksmith’, a series of posts by Ron Hewit which we ran early last year, which told the story of Ron’s dad Bob. Bob worked as a blacksmith and farrier for 53 years – the last in a long family line of craftsmen.
