Iain Rowan recently got in touch to point us in the direction of ‘The Sea Library’, which he says is:

‘a lovely little project being run by Anna Iltnere in Jurmala in Latvia – taking donations of books  about the sea (fiction, nature writing) from around the world, and lending out books both by visiting the library or via post. It’s accompanied by a blog which is reviews and quotes from the books in the library, including Sebald, Philip Hoare and others.’
