Competition Results

9th May 2019

Here are the results of our latest newsletter competition:

Last week, we had three copies of Under the Rock by Benjamin Myers, published by Elliott & Thompson, to give away. We asked:

Which journalist, editor, activist and prominent feminist figure opened her poem ‘The Arraignment’ with the line “I accuse/Ted Hughes,” leading to her 1972 collection Monster being withdrawn and banned across the Commonwealth?

And the answer is: Robin Morgan. The winners are Aoife Kitt, Síle Harrington and Gareth Beaver. Your prizes should be with you very soon!

Thanks, as usual, for all the competition entries. To be in with a chance of winning our next prize – one of three copies of Lisa Drew’s Islandeering: Adventures around the edge of Britain’s hidden islands, published by Wild Things  — make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list before 11am tomorrow. The sign-up bar can be found in the top right-hand corner of this page.
