Caught by the River

Competition Results

16th May 2019

Here are the results of our latest newsletter competition:

Last week, we had three copies of Lisa Drewe’s Islandeering: Adventures Around the Edge of Britain’s Hidden Islands, newly out with Wild Things Publishing, to give away. We asked:

Around which archipelago off the northeastern coast of Scotland was Amy Liptrot’s Caught by the River column – and later her book The Outrun – based?

And the answer is, of course, Orkney. The winners are Andy St John, Julie Coleclough, and Carol Naden. Your prizes will be with you very soon!

Thanks, as usual, for all the competition entries. To be in with a chance of winning our next prize – a copy of each of recent Uniformbooks releases Brilliant Absence: Pursuing the Kingfisher in the work of Hans Waanders (Ross Hair) and Printed Landscape (Colin Sackett) – make sure you’re signed up to our mailing list before 11am tomorrow. The sign-up bar can be found in the top right-hand corner of this page.
