Caught by the River

Competition Results

25th June 2020

Here are the results of our most recent newsletter competition…

A couple of weeks ago, we had three copies of three copies of Nikki Squires, Richard Clifford and John Webster’s, Wild Guide Central England: Adventures in the Peak District, Midlands, Cotswolds & Wye Valleynewly out with Wild Things Publishing, to give away. We asked:

Which river, the third-longest in the UK, passes through Stoke-on-Trent, Burton upon Trent, Stone, Rugeley and Nottingham before joining the River Ouse to form the Humber Estuary?

And the answer is: the Trent. The winners are Owen Knight, Ryan Houghton and Beth Whalley. Your books should be with you very soon!

To be in with the chance of winning our next prize – one of three copies of Stephen Rutt’s The Seafarers, newly published in paperback by Elliott & Thompson  – make sure you’re subscribed to our mailing list before tomorrow morning. The sign-up bar can be found in the top right-hand corner of this page.
