I don’t wanna go to the store 
don’t wanna buy anything more 
there’s nothing there to tempt me 
though our cupboards are half empty 
we’d rather spend some time alone 
in our quiet little home 
and we’ll have ourselves a very little christmas now 

there’s frost out on the hedgerow 
can you feel the winter wind blow 
all the blankets that we got 
are all second hand bought 
we don’t need any company 
we got the owls mice and sheep
