Caught by the River

Wolf Moon

18th February 2022

A poem by Jessica Sneddon, introduced by its writer thus:

This journal was written on my evening commute. It is an observation of the natural world as glimpsed through rain patterned windows. It is a time of crepuscular creatures, winged and human, in the waxing and waning shadows of the moon. This is part of a self-initiated piece of writing as I aim to gather my notebook entries into a monthly snapshot of this twilight time.

Jessica Sneddon is a poet living and working in Cumbria. Her love of writing began in the beautiful county she is fortunate enough to call home. Her poetry has been published in Tears in the Fence, Magma, Stand and Ink Sweat and Tears.
