‘A.one’ — the first track from Sam McLoughlin’s Fae Transit, out this week on Folklore Tapes.

Described by the label as ‘a full abduction, a journey through a woodland inhabited by spirits and haunted by the living’, the album is written entirely for harmonium, nylon guitar, hand percussion and dictaphone.

‘If you have ideas in your mind of what faerie sounds like’ they write, ‘this probably isn’t it.’

Fae Transit is out on 1st October.
