‘This record and this song in particular is about cycles, beginnings and endings. I’ve spent many hours this year playing with these blocks with my daughter. The structures we build are always different and always the same.

One of my great heroes Julie Tippetts sings all over this record but for this song, she sang alone. Watching her sing my song through the studio glass is one of my favourite five minutes.’
