David writes:

Joining the dots.. started in 2021 with a walk around the post-industrial landscape of Blaenafon in South Wales. I took with me my 40-year-old SLR camera and some expired film. The results were so inspiring I did six more walks over the following two years with the same combination of camera and expired film. Each film gave equally surprising results. With little or no post-production the resulting self-published book explores and revels in these cinematic images: their layers of history, colours and imperfections. The hardback book, beautifully printed by Gomer Press includes an accompanying essay by archaeologist Frank Olding.
