Caught by the River

A Collection of Words from the Archive

9th September 2022

Middler and Lunker-tier Caught by the River Steady subscribers should find copies of their latest (and most extensive yet) print artefact hitting the mat as soon as the postal strikes allow.

A celebration of our recent, under-the-radar, decade-and-a-half birthday, A Collection of Words from the Archive is the first of what we hope to be many physical delves into the mists of Caught by the River, with pieces from across the years and a breadth of contributors hand, head and heart-picked by the four of us (Diva, Jeff, Andrew, & Robin). This first edition contains demonic Welsh crocodiles, wellies full of whale slime, and a glorious paean to weeing in the great outdoors — something for everyone, you’d hope — alongside delectable graphics by Louise Mason.

A few spare copies will be made available for purchase on our Bandcamp page in the not-too-distant future, but if you can’t wait to get your hands on one, support us with a Middler or Lunker-level Steady subscription, and we’ll pop one straight in the post. Subscriptions allow us to pay our writers for their contributions, and help guarantee the longevity of the site.
