The third Laugharne Weekend Festival takes place on April 3rd – 5th. Laugharne is best known as the West Wales town that Dylan Thomas based “Under Milk Wood” on, and this is what Dylan called Laugharne “a legendary lazy little black-magical bedllam by the sea”.

Festival highlights include Ray Davies, Irvine Welsh, Alexei Sayle, Mark Steel, Luke Haines, Shirley Collins, Louis de Bernieres, DBC Pierre, AL Kennedy and Simon Armitage.

Mick Jones and Topper Headon will talk about their careers to former Clash tour manager Johnny Green. Keith Allen will perform the live debut of his spoken word album and Welsh no good boyos Rhys Ifans and Howard Marks will be in conversation with each other.

Musical highlights will include a one off collaboration between Norman Blake (Teenage Fanclub) and Euros Childs (Gorky’s Zygotic Mynki) who will go under the name of “Johnny”. Other music will come from Richard James, Alasdair Roberts, Cate le Bon, Radio Luxembourg and Jon Langford and Sally Timms of The Mekons.
