The River Clettwr…
….is a tributary of the Wye and joins the Ty-Newydd stretch at Erewood. The salmon (the few that there are these days) run up. It is very small and close to the village but very pretty at this time of the year. The Ty-Newydd stretch can be fished via the Wye and Usk Foundation and is a beautiful stretch of the main river. It is also where I failed to catch a grayling last week.
