Renowned artist/illustrator Ralph Steadman and filmmaker/long-term CBTR contributor Ceri Levy are back with another collaborative publication. Following in the footsteps of 2012’s Extinct Boids and 2015’s Nextinction, Critical Critters is jam-packed with nonsense beasts, irreverent jokes, a diary-style record of the creative mayhem, and around 100 spectacular illustrations by Ralph of critically endangered mammals, insects, fish, lizards and trees.
We, Ralph, and Ceri will be launching the book at Rough Trade East on Thursday 20 July with a talk, Q&A, and signing. The event takes place from 7pm, and is free to attend.
