Field recordist extraordinaire Chris Watson has consigned some new sounds to wax (and CD and MP3), culminating in Locations, Processed – the latest release in the Moog Recordings Library series.

The record is the result of Watson having run his field work through the legendary electronics company’s System 55 – apparently making for ‘a potent and eerie listen, with unidentified sounds flitting in and out of a mix that is peppered with alien synthetic tones.’
