Just some of the delectable wares available in our Bandcamp shop today, including a few new titles especially uploaded for Bandcamp Friday:
Garden of Sorts is a magazine dedicated to exploring the intersection of nature, culture, and humankind.
Sacred Plants, vol. 5 considers the integral relationship between humans and plants through the lens of textile history. In collaboration with Lore Archive, it presents a photographic and written journey into the significance of plant-based fabrics and the stories they carry.
Inspired by children’s alphabet books, A is for Ant is a photography project by Jack Davison, comprising an A-Z of the animal kingdom with costumes designed by Shona Heath.
Slow Grown: Plants, Folklore and Natural Dyeing turns our eyes to the great histories of natural dyers. It features 8 dye recipes available to any forager, alongside their accompanying folklore. Including oak, apple, and elder, this zine will teach readers the basics of natural dyeing with local and readily available ingredients, thereby helping in saving the ancient practice of colouring cloth.
These and many other books, zines and records will also be available on our stall at the first monthly Sherbet Dab Records & Books market tomorrow, taking place at Mason & Fifth Westbourne Park, 12-6pm. Come and find us, alongside our Heavenly compadres, for a spot of browsing!
